These driving shoes are a fine example of how we take traditional silhouettes, like the moccasin, and reimagine them with a modern Tyrwhitt twist. A continuous piece of buttery-soft 100% European suede cocoons around the foot, providing a breathable feel and light-as-air finish. They're finished with small rubber pebbles that flow from the sole and creep up towards the back of the heel, giving extra flexibility and a reassuring grip with every step.

I purchased these shoes specifically for driving. I am handicapped, which makes it difficult for me to feel where my feet are on the clutch and brake pedals, which these shoes do quite well.
I can feel the little nubs rubbing against the pedals as I move my left foot from clutch to brake and back. I learned to count the bumps under my foot as it slides across a pedal. Four bumps means that my foot is safely centered on a pedal, and I can confidently press down.
The looks of the shoe for me is great. Moccasins match my lifestyle outside of cars.
After driving with them for hundreds miles, I found one issue that can be a deal breaker for some: The laces cannot be tightened because the laces are glued underneath the tongue of the shoe.
This becomes a huge problem whenever you are quick with the clutch. The heal of the shoe sticks to the floor and the shoe can come off. That can be dangerous.
I am going to have a cobbler fix this for me because I really like the shoes.
