This gilet is knitted from 100% extra fine merino wool in a jersey stitch, with a funnel neck and zip-up front. It is finished with rib detailing on the neck, hem, and armhole cuffs, and has two pockets on either side of the zip. The merino fibers make it lightweight and soft, yet offer good insulation in cold weather, and the piece has been garment-washed for extra softness. An excellent layering piece, the gilet offers extra warmth in cold weather as part of both formal and casual looks.
But the vest is itchy around the collar. The wool should be soft but the merino wool coils are very hard and digs into the skin. Poor quality merino wool

This is just thr right vest I needed! It is soft to the touch, the fabric used is very comfy and breathable and overall the look is stunning! I love the color I picked out and would most definitely buy a different color. The extra slim fit is perfect sizing for me and it is a slim fit
