We've used more sustainable yarns, including 41% GRS-certified recycled nylon, to create this cotton-rich blend. You'll notice the exceptional quality of the twill weave, with its smooth handfeel, and appreciate the movement of added stretch and a split back yoke. The lightweight and breathable fabric is ready to make warm days comfortable, thanks to naturally moisture-wicking properties. For a relaxed feel, we've opted for single-button, rounded cuffs and a semi-cutaway collar with lightweight interlining, plus our non-iron finish (of course).

These are sold as non-iron shirts. They come out of the wash wrinkled, when left to hang on a hanger remain wrinkled. When ironed (at the labelled setting of 1) are still not crisp like a quality cotton shirt. I am disappointed and will not be buying these again. I have been buying from Charles Tyrwhitt’s for many years and it is the first time their shirts have been poor.

Thank you for your feedback. We're certainly sorry to see that you haven't been 100% satisfied with your new shirts, which is disappointing. Our 'Performance' Twill shirts are a blend of Cotton and nylon - for a more sustainable, cotton-rich blend. We absolutely expect them to be non-iron, and they have been tested to ensure this is the case. One trick when first washing the shirts is to pop them in the dryer for a quick spin - the addition of heat in this way helps to activate the non-iron properties within the cotton. Of course, if you are not fully happy with the shirt then please consider returning it to us. We have some great 100% cotton alternatives. Any return you make will be free of charge.
