We're certainly sorry to see the feel of this particular shirt was not quite to your liking, which is a real shame. We offer a wide variety of different weaves and styles for our shirts - some of which will be smooth and lightweight (like the Poplin) whilst others will be heavier, thicker or have a greater texture to the material. That is certainly the case for this shirt, which is designed to be that way. The material will almost certainly soften over time, however, with wear and washing. Of course, if you would prefer to have something a little softer or perhaps less textured, you are welcome to return this shirt to us. We would recommend the Twill as a great alternative - mid-weight and with a beautiful soft finish, we're sure you will be delighted with it.
