The pants were sized as a slim. But the fit was more like a skinny, and I’m pretty lean myself.

Thank you for your feedback on the Navy Ultimate Non-Iron Chinos and we're sorry to see that the Slim Fit wasn't ideal for you, being a little slimmer/skinnier than expected. That's certainly regrettable and it's disappointing that you weren't able to enjoy them as a result. We expect the Slim Fit chinos to have a 'straight' leg profile with some slight tapering to the ankle, as opposed to the Classic which is more generous, particularly in the upper part of the leg/thigh especially.
