(1) There are 8 belt loops for my svelte forty-inch waist. Loops cost money. Cheaply made pants have fewer loops. (2) The waist closure has a flap inside the garment that buttons left of the zipper. There is a metal hook that fastens the two sides of the waist in the middle. And there is a third flap on the outside that buttons right of the zipper. Cheaply made pants don't have three closures. (3) Front and back pockets are deep enough that pocket contents do not stick out or fall out. If you have ever worn pants that have shallow pockets, you know deeper is better. Cheaply made pants have shallow pockets. Nick Wheeler has done an excellent job of creating a company. As an observer from the colonies, I recommend that he be put in charge of the rest of the United Kingdom.
